Ars Nova Workshop presents the Detroit-based experimental noise duo Wolf Eyes at Solar Myth on May 30, 2026.

Formed in 1996 by Nate Young, the corrosive and blistering Wolf Eyes has mutated through a number of different forms, built around the core duo of Young and John Olson. Known for their bizarre and otherworldly approach to music, Wolf Eyes conjures a sound that is both disturbing and hypnotic. With their intense and bizarre live performances, Wolf Eyes has garnered a reputation as one of the most frightening and weird bands in the world. Collaboration has been a constant throughout their quarter-century-plus history, including meetings with far-ranging experimentalists like Merzbow, Anthony Braxton, Raven Chacon, and Richard Pinhas.
