The Quarantine Concerts

Matt Hollenberg

hosted by Experimental Sound Studio

April 26, 2020

The burning guitarist of Cleric and John Zorn’s Simulacrum, Matt Hollenberg’s sonic world traverses avant-garde classical, free jazz, dissonant math metal, ambient, and world music. Originally from Philly and now living in Brooklyn, Hollenberg composes complex and exciting pieces. As a collaborator with John Zorn, John Medeski, and many others, his work is a mind-melting blend of fiery solos and improvisational madness.
