Gabriel Meyer Creative Orchestra

Ars Nova Workshop, in conjunction with Tri-Centric Foundation, presents the Gabriel Meyer Creative Orchestra performing the music of legendary composer Anthony Braxton, at Solar Myth on Saturday, December 9.

Comprised of Temple University students, the Gabriel Mever Creative Orchestra aims to bring creative and improvised music to a new generation of musicians and audiences. The GMCO has been rehearsing and performing the music of Anthony Braxton since January 2023 under the direction of trombonist and composer Gabriel Meyer. Meyer has been working with Anthony Braxton’s Tri-Centric foundation to bring to life previously unheard compositions for creative orchestra.
