This trio brings together three highly respected figures in creative music, each with decades of experience shaping the field. Cooper-Moore is a foundational presence in the avant-garde, with long-standing collaborations alongside William Parker and David S. Ware, while Chad Taylor remains one of the most in-demand drummers today through his work with James Brandon Lewis and groups Chicago Underground Duo. Together with Zankel, a key voice in Philadelphia’s improvised music community, they create music that is direct, exploratory, and grounded in deep listening.
