Poet, vocalist, and cultural force Saul Williams joins visionary producer, percussionist, composer, and cosmic facilitator Carlos Niño and an expanded ensemble featuring keyboardist and spiritual jazz torchbearer Surya Botofasina, vocalist Dorothy Berry, and saxophonist Aaron Shaw.

Niño describes himself as a “communicator” — a role encompassing his own recordings, his integral contributions to André 3000’s New Blue Sun, and decades of community-rooted broadcast work through his long-running Spaceways Radio on Los Angeles’ KPFK. Mentored early on by figures including Adam Rudolph, Dwight Trible, and Billy Higgins, Niño has cultivated a far-reaching creative circle spanning Shabaka Hutchings, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Jamire Williams, and many others.

Together, this gathering brings poetry, improvisation, spiritual jazz, and deep listening into a shared field—an expansive, collaborative music shaped in real time.
