Guided Virtual Tour of ‘Milford Graves: A Mind-Body Deal’

with Milford Graves and the exhibition curators

January 13, 2021

Join Ars Nova Workshop and Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia (ICA) for a virtual tour of Milford Graves: A Mind-Body Deal, an exhibition gathering the many-layered and multi-faceted works of free jazz pioneer and polymath Milford Graves.

The tour will be led by Mark Christman, Artistic Director of Ars Nova Workshop; and Anthony Elms, Daniel and Brett Sundheim Chief Curator, ICA.

UPDATE: Milford Graves will be joining the exhibition curators online for this program.

ICA’s Curator-Led Tours offer a unique opportunity to learn about our current exhibitions from the curators. Each tour covers the overarching themes and broader contexts of the exhibition, highlighting key works of art, and providing insight into the curatorial process.
